  • General FAQ

    • Nothing happens when I click Buy Now, when customizing chotuKool. Why?

      Kindly select the color options for cowl, lid and trim also, when customizing your chotuKool. The Buy Now button is enabled only when you have mentioned your choice of color and design to all the components of chotuKool.

    • What is ‘My Account’? How do I update my information?

      It is easy to update your Godrej account and view your orders any time through 'My Account'. 'My Account' allows you complete control over your transactions on Godrej such as:
      - Manage/edit your personal data like address, phone numbers, email ids
      - Change your password
      - Track the status of your orders
      - View your cart
      - See previous designs

    • How do I know my order has been confirmed?

      Once your order has been logged and payment authorisation has been received, we confirm receipt of the order and begin processing it. You will receive an email containing the details of your order. In this email you will be provided with a unique Order ID, summary of your order and the expected delivery time.

    • Why do I see different prices for different skin designs?

      The printing cost for each skin varies. As the colours and printing method might vary depending upon the skin design, the cost for it will also vary.

    • How long do my saved designs remain in 'My Account'

      Designs that have been bought by you will be stored permanently with us. However in the case of designs saved by you during creating yourchotuKool will remain saved for 15 days only. Anytime during that period you can come and re-load your saved design, edit and buy it. After 15 days, the designs will be erased.

    • Can I gift a chotuKool to someone?

      During payment you can provide different shipping and billing address. However, we do not provide an option of gift wrapping the product. The product will be shipped in standard packaging only.

    • How do I pay for a chotuKool?

      We offer only online payment methods. You may make the purchase using your Visa or MasterCard credit/debit cards or through NetBanking.

    • Are there any hidden charges (Octroi or Sales Tax) when I make a purchase on chotuKool?

      None. The total price listed on the order summary sheet is final and inclusive of all taxes.

    • Is it safe to use my credit/debit card?

      Absolutely. Your online transaction is secured with the highest levels of transaction security currently available on the Internet. Godrej uses 256-bit encryption technology to protect your card information while securely transmitting it to the respective banks for payment processing. All credit card and debit card payments are processed through secure and trusted payment gateways managed by leading banks. Banks now use the 3D Secure password service for online transactions, providing an additional layer of security through identity verification.

    • What steps does Godrej take to prevent card fraud?

      Godrej realises the importance of a strong fraud detection and resolution capability. We and our online payments partners monitor transactions continuously for suspicious activity and flag potentially fraudulent transactions for manual verification by our team.

      In the rarest of rare cases, when our team is unable to rule out the possibility of fraud categorically, the transaction is kept on hold, and the customer is requested to provide identity documents. The ID documents help us ensure that the purchases were indeed made by a genuine card holder. We apologise for any inconvenience that may be caused to customers and request them to bear with us in the larger interest of ensuring a safe and secure environment for online transactions.

    • What is a 3D Secure password?

      The 3D Secure password is implemented by VISA and MasterCard in partnership with card issuing banks under the "Verified by VISA" and ‘MastercardSecureCode’ services, respectively.

      The 3D Secure password adds an additional layer of security through identity verification for your online credit/debit card transactions. This password, which is created by you, is known only to you. This ensures that only you can use your card for online purchases.

      You can register for the 3D Secure password for your credit/debit card by visiting your bank’s website.

    • What are the delivery charges?

      Delivery charges are included in the cost of the chotuKool.

    • What is the estimated delivery time?

      chotuKools from our Quick Buy section will be delivered to you within 6 – 10 days. Customized chotuKools will be delivered within 18 – 25 days.

    • Does Godrej deliver chotuKool all over India?

      Currently we deliver chotuKool in all the major cities in India.

    • Can I place an order from anywhere in the world?

      Yes, you can place the order from anywhere in the world however, the shipping address can be only of pin codes that belong to India.

  • Cancellations & Returns

    • What is the return policy of Godrej for chotuKool?

      If you receive a damaged or a defective product, within 30 days you can give a call to our Customer Care or drop us an email. We will come and collect the product and issue you a replacement at no extra cost.

    • What are the conditions for initiating a return?

      Damages due to misuse of product are not covered under the policy. Products with tampered or missing serial numbers are likewise ineligible.

      'Damage' or 'defect' is as defined under the manufacturer’s warranty. Please return the item in the actual condition you received it with all its original packaging and accessories.

      Replacement can be for the entire product or part(s) of the product subject to availability of the same.

    • How do I cancel an order?

      chotuKool is a customisable product made for you. It’s not possible to cancel your order once placed.

    • Is the service available in my region?

      Our SmartCare service network is spread all over the country. Godrej has service centers in most cities of India. For assistance refer to our helpline number.

    • Who will render the service, if repairs are involved?

      Godrej SmartCareauthorised service technicians will perform service when you own a Godrej appliance under warranty and/or extended warranty scheme; the service contract. These technicians are trained to ensure your satisfaction, and will use only quality/genuine replacement parts, when required.

    • Can I claim service for my other appliances?

      No.
